Dirt separator with magnet FERNOX TF1 Omega 3/4" (62336)
TF1 Omega Filter
Designed to be installed in small or hard-to-reach places, this highly effective, leak-proof, in-line installation filter is easy to install and quick and convenient to clean. There is no need to disassemble the filter or replace O-rings when maintaining the system, saving time. The TF1 Omega Filter is made of high-quality nickel-plated brass and uses Hydronic Particle Separation (HPS) technology and magnetic filtration to remove magnetic and non-magnetic contaminants from the installation. The quality and reliability of this award-winning filter is backed by an industry-leading 25-year warranty.
- High throughput and compact design. Perfect for use in tight spaces

Additional information
The TF1 Omega Filter is constructed from a high-strength brass grade suitable for heating and cooling applications. Brass elements are nickel-plated to increase their durability and resistance, which means that the filter is compatible with a wide range of glycols and additives used in central heating systems. The design of the TF1 Omega Filter ensures minimal pressure losses while maintaining high dirt collection efficiency. The internal HPS (hydraulic particle separator), magnet assembly and low flow zone have been designed to allow the filter to capture a range of contaminants from the installation without having negative effects on the rest of the heating system. The TF1 Omega Filter uses a range of high-quality components that ensure the best possible filter efficiency. The magnet is manufactured using the highest quality neodymium, ensuring high capture efficiency, which, combined with a hydraulic particle separator made of stainless steel, allows for continuous and coherent filtration of a number of circulating water contaminants.
Application, fitting and dosing
Designed for installation in home heating installations on pipes of the appropriate diameter. The filter can be easily mounted on a horizontal or vertical pipe in any flow direction. The filter is designed to protect the boiler against the harmful effects of circulating corrosive contaminants that accumulate in the system as a result of chemical reactions that occur when water comes into contact with various metals used in heating and cooling installations. The delivered kit includes assembly instructions. The TF1 Omega Filter can be installed on vertical or horizontal lines, regardless of the direction of liquid flow, but the direction indicated by the arrow on the manifold must be observed. Ideally, the TF1 Omega Filter should be mounted in the return to the boiler, and can be installed with an inclination of up to 45° from the vertical position.
Packaging, storage and safety
People with cardiac implants should always exercise extreme caution when handling a magnetic filter, as with all magnetic products. Individually packed with instructions. No special storage requirements.
Efficiency
Compatible fluids: Water Glycol solutions containing inhibitor Fernox chemicals / additives for circulating fluids Maximum glycol concentration: 50% Maximum operating pressure: 50 l/min Maximum operating temperature: 100 ⁰C Capture efficiency: up to 100% of contaminants in the circulation Principle of operation - contaminated water enters the filter through the collector, carrying various impurities generated in the installation and suspended solid particles. These contaminants, including ferromagnetic contaminants such as magnetite, travel through the collector and into the main filter body. Thanks to the specially designed flow characteristics created in the filter by the hydraulic particle separator (HPS), water is forced to move down towards the bottom of the filter. The action of HPS helps to break down any suspended dirt particles in the water and direct these particles towards a specially designed low flow zone at the base of the filter. The dynamic flow of water in the filter also allows ferromagnetic contaminants to be captured by a set of strong magnets. To exit the filter, water must flow along the magnet mantle and around the HPS before exiting the collector. In this way, circulating water contaminants are prevented from escaping from the filter as they are either trapped in the low flow zone or captured by a strong magnet, meaning clean water flows out of the filter. Any dirt collected in the filter can then be removed by removing the magnet from the housing and opening the drain valve. This procedure is shown in the filter cleaning instructions and does not require turning off the system or removing the filter.
